iCorNet.Laboratory Co. is an academia driven medical device venture from Nagoya University Japan, developing the cardiac support net for heart failure and Lethal arrhythmia. Our device for HF is Patient-Specific Design and Manufactured by 3D knitting machine individually. It fills the treatment gap between ongoing drug therapy and heart transplantation (HTx), and is an alternative to Ventricular Assist Device (VAD).Our device for lethal arrhythmia (ICD cardiac net) proves painless defibrillation (<0.7J) in both large animal model and computer simulation. Both devices have possibility to be gamechangers of current treatments.

Medical Device, Pre-Clinical, 2016 iCorNet Laboratory is a spin-out from Nagoya University. Their team is developing a patient-specific cardiac support mesh net to treat dilated cardiomyopathy. The mesh net is designed by optimizing cardiac function based on a 3D model of the patient's heart derived from MRI or CT images. The patient-specific cardiac support net from iCorNet Laboratory helps patients with dilated cardiomyopathy who have heart failure symptoms treated with standard medical therapy. Their device improves cardiac function and exercise tolerance by alleviating left ventricular wall tension and ATP consumption. Compared to left ventricular assist devices, the iCorNet cardiac support net is cheaper and has fewer complications.
